Residents of
Gibbston Valley Station will be able to experience the activity and beauty of a unique vineyard and orchard environment.
In keeping with the Central Otago region and reflecting the special character and climate of the valley,
Gibbston Valley Station will be established within existing vineyards and extensive vineyard planting.
Predominantly pinot noir grapes –
for which this region is internationally renowned – will be planted throughout
the Station’s best growing sites surrounding the residential areas.
The vines and fruit trees will provide a distinctive landscaping element, affording privacy to residents while ensuring the Station remains in keeping with the Valley’s viticultural environment.
The vineyard will be managed and tended by
Gibbston Valley Wines, Residents can experience the excitement of the grape harvest and wine production, with exclusive opportunities for
Winery Club members.
The fruit produced in the orchards and wines from the vineyards will be sold at the Vintners Market and exported
world-wide.
